Corporate Project Group – Project Manager Pool

Details

As a Landgate Project Manager for the Corporate Project Group you will be an important leader in capital works projects throughout the Authority. In this role you will be responsible for managing a number of key corporate projects to achieve objectives and deliver business benefits.

As part of the Corporate Project Group you can expect to manage key capital works projects which include enhancing core systems and operating environments, as well as developing commercial products and services.

Landgate is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Corporate Project Group Project Manager pool where successful applicants, based on their determined skills/abilities, will be offered permanent and fixed-term, full-time or part-time appointments as business needs arise. This pool will operate for a period of 12 months from completion of the review period.

Senior Project Manager

Details

In this permanent role, you will take a lead in the planning, preparation and completion of small and large projects. You will have a role in acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors/consultants in order to deliver projects to time and to budget.
Additionally, you will have a significant leadership role and assist with managing the IT Project Team, ensuring adequate training and development.

Working as part of our highly collaborative IT Team your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT project management including strategic planning and objectives;
  • Manage and monitor processes to ensure ongoing development of IT project planning and efficient functioning of the Project Office;
  • Establish IT project budgets and allocate resources, monitor budgets and report on expenditure;
  • Direct, plan and manage IT projects including identifying project dependencies and critical path;
  • Define and manage project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

To be considered for this position you will have demonstrated ability to develop and deploy project management best practise, policies, procedures and processes. Integral to this role are extensive analytical and problem solving capabilities. Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency and recent full membership of a relevant project management institution are required.
