Matching Competencies
Peter Horth

Workshop Description

Companies are increasingly realizing that projects give best value for their investments; and that good project management is essential. However, to ensure projects are managed effectively the right project manager (PM) must be assigned to each project, and all competency requirements of the project should be met.

To match PMs to projects you need the answers to the following:

  • What competencies does the project require and at what level?
  • What competencies do the available PMs have and at what level?
  • How do I match the potential PMs to the project?
  • What gaps remain after assigning the PM, and how do I fill them?
  • As a PM what competencies should I focus on to match most projects?

This workshop will help answer these questions.
